Our Process

Exploration

After onboarding, we dive into style exploration, project inspiration, and budgeting. Based on your goals and priorities we solidify the vision.

We ask clients to compile their inspiration to help set us on the right path, which we review together. We then identify the themes and present a mood board specific to the space we are designing.

Schematic Design

This is where the magic happens! We gather everything we need to create a detailed and cohesive design plan over a 6-12 week time period.

If the project includes a renovation, we prioritize getting any floor plans, elevations, and material selections over to the appropriate trades for an accurate renovation scope and bid.

Design Presentation

This includes floor plans, elevations, fabric and finish samples, and an itemized purchases proposal.

Good design takes time and our design plan allows us to look at everything holistically. We carefully select each design element while taking into account style, function, quality, and value.

Execution

The purchasing process can take anywhere from 3-9 months. During this phase we work hard behind the scenes, placing and managing orders and overseeing any trades. We keep our clients informed on what to expect and provide regular updates along the way.

If the project includes a renovation, this is when it starts.

Project Management

A great design will get you nowhere without proper execution. In our experience, clients get the best results when they trust the process and let us manage the heavy lifting.

Inevitably something will go wrong as your project progresses. Communication is key and we won’t rest until we have a solution.

Delivery and Installation

The fun part! We oversee deliveries and installations, making sure everything finds its place. We move furniture in and complete the styling, creating a layered and lived in space personal to you.

While this is the end of our process, it is just the beginning for your new space!
